Alexa Taylor

Miss Alexa is originally from Kyle, Texas - a town nestled between Austin and San Marcos. She is currently a fourth-year student at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, where she is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology and proudly represents the Islander spirit.
Alexa began her dance training at the age of twelve at the Kyle Conservatory of Performing Arts, where she studied a wide range of styles including hip hop, jazz, ballet, contemporary/lyrical, and acrobatics. In 2017, she served as a Power Dance Assistant, supporting masterclasses led by accomplished choreographers.
During high school, Alexa was a dedicated four-year member of the Lehman High School Star Strutters dance team and served as a lieutenant in her senior year. Today, she continues to share her love of dance as a veteran member of the Islander Dance Team, where she remains committed to growing as a performer and leader.
As part of the Islanders Dance Team, Alexa had the opportunity to attend ProAction Dance in Las Vegas in July 2025, where she trained with world-renowned choreographers and further developed her skills alongside elite collegiate dancers from across the country.
