This high-energy technique class is focused on building strong fundamentals, including clean arm motions, dynamic leaps, turns, jumps, and stylized movement that reflect dance team performance standards.
Classwork includes across-the-floor drills, center technique, flexibility training, and short combinations that emphasize musicality, strength, and performance quality. Dancers will learn how to project energy, synchronize with a group, and develop confidence in their movement.
Ideal for ages 12 and up, this class is perfect for dancers preparing for performance teams, school or collegiate spirit squads, or anyone wanting to improve their technique in an upbeat and disciplined setting.
Attire
Top
Fitted leotard, tank top, or dance crop (studio-branded or solid color)
Bottoms
Jazz pants, leggings, or dance shorts (no jeans or loose pants)
Shoes
Tan slip-on jazz shoes or nude half-sole shoes
Hair
Pulled back in a ponytail or bun
NO chewing gum, food or dangling jewelry. Hair should be pulled back in pony tail or bun so that is stays up for the entire workout. Personal items should be left at home. Jewelry articles should be left at home. This facility's staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Please mark student's personal items with their name (including shoes).
