This technique-focused class is designed to strengthen the essential elements of dance: powerful leaps, controlled turns, and clean lines. Students will work on improving alignment, balance, core strength, and flexibility while learning a variety of turns (such as pirouettes, fouettés, and coupé turns) and leaps (including sautés, jetés, and switch leaps).
Drills and across-the-floor combinations help dancers build consistency, control, and performance quality—skills that translate directly into all dance styles, from jazz and lyrical to pom and contemporary.

Attire
Top
Fitted leotard, tank top, or dance crop (studio-branded or solid color)
Bottoms
Jazz pants, leggings, or dance shorts (no jeans or loose pants)
Shoes
Tan slip-on jazz shoes or nude half-sole shoes
Hair
Pulled back in a ponytail or bun
NO chewing gum, food or dangling jewelry. Hair should be pulled back in pony tail or bun so that is stays up for the entire workout. Personal items should be left at home. Jewelry articles should be left at home. This facility's staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Please mark student's personal items with their name (including shoes).
